The average amount of water it takes to wash a car using the traditional method is 116 gallons. Now let’s say that you wash your car once per week and your family owns two cars, both of which get washed every week. That means that 232 gallons a week is getting used to wash your car. This is over 1,000 gallons per month. If you want to think about it yearly it is 12,064 gallons of water per year. Can you even picture how much water that is? It is a huge amount of water to just be thrown away.
If you count up everyone in your neighborhood this is hundreds of thousands of gallons just being thrown away and if you count your whole city this is millions of gallons per year. These are no small amounts. We see advertisements everyday telling us exactly how much water we can save by fixing a leaky faucet but nobody ever mentions how much we can save just by washing their car the waterless way.
Those thousands of gallons start to sound pretty silly and unnecessary when you start thinking about the fact that it only takes between 2 and 4 ounces of Freedom Waterless Car Wash to clean your car without water.
