We have so many different dealers and while we try to promote them all as much as humanly possible, there is literally only so much we can do. That is why it is a good thing that several of our dealers do a great job at getting out there and getting the media exposure for themselves. For one reason or another we always seem to be reading about our dealers in various newspapers and other forms of media. Our latest dealer to earn a little bit of media exposure is none other than Freedom of Hawaii.
The leader of Freedom of Hawaii – Duke -was interviewed which resulted in a beautiful piece in The Garden Island. While, they spent a lot of time talking about his life as a surfer and dedication to his projects despite some health issues, the waterless car wash was the real point of interest here. Even though Hawaii is part of America, they are still far enough removed that they don’t have quite the same awareness of the waterless car wash as lots of other people do. That is perfectly fine because as you will see, Duke does a great job at getting that word out there.
Duke runs the business out of his home where you can take your car to get an amazing wash or he can also come to you, whichever is easier. If you decide to get it done at his house you can take shelter from the heat under the provided tent where you are likely to meet some cool people hanging out, especially if you are a surfer. He says that the products are also great for surfboards and boats if that is more your thing than cars is. He is known for taking both beginner and expert surfers around the island on amazing surfing adventures.
Duke keeps things as a family affair and his youngest daughter, Kandace works as a model, often helping out for promotional shoots for Freedom of Hawaii. The most amazing part about Duke however, as is stated in the article is his unwavering perseverance. After suffering kidney failure five years ago Duke is still fighting back hard and not letting it get him down. Not even a break-in to his business that took away all of his computers and other equipment required to do business has been able to stop. Duke just keeps on pressing on and his story is a very inspirational. Unfortunately this story is contained in a completed version of his autobiography which was on one of the stolen computers and may never see the light of day in its intended form.
None of this can keep Duke down though as every time something bad happens or he hits a rough patch he comes right back for more. This is some truly dedicated work from a guy who knows how difficult life can be and why exactly we always need to be prepared and looking towards the future. You definitely have our support Duke, keep up the good work!
