Some people like to personify their cars and the true car lovers might go a little bit too far with it. That being said, your car is the thing that is going to get you from point A to point B day in and day out so you have to give your car a little bit of TLC every now and then. Some people think that taking their car in for a wash at one of those automatic car washes is like a spa day for their car but in reality it is quite the opposite and if you really cared about your car you wouldn’t do that.
Truth is, those types of places actually can do a lot of damage to your car. We can’t tell you how many cars we have seen that have had their paint jobs permanently damaged from those car washes. You might not see it on the first or second time you do it with the naked eye but if you bring your car there enough time you will start to get what is known as swirls.
Instead of doing that and thinking it is good for your car, why not give your car something better? A wipe down using waterless car wash products and a micro fiber towel is much more like a pampering for your car and definitely won’t damage your paint job. If your car could talk then it would definitely thank you after you give it a nice waterless wash.
