As car fans one thing that always manages to catch our eye is an amazing shine coming off a car. While of course it is always better for your car to be the car in question, any shine coming off any car is enough to catch our interest. It is almost impossible for a shiny car to drive by without our necks turning to follow where it is going. Maybe some of us spend our days looking out for these shiny cars to go by but the rest of us spend our time trying to figure out how to make our own cars look so shiny.
The first thing you need to do to bring your shine to the next level is to first find something to compare things to. This will be the step where the shininess of other people’s cars should matter to you. Spend a day driving around and taking in all of the shiny cars out there on the road. No need to perform a waterless wash before going out scouting because seeing other cars that are cleaner than yours will only give you more motivation to get your car as clean as possible once you get home.
During your drive you hopefully spotted a car that was shiny enough to become your motivation for the entire experiment. If you did then we also hope you were able to snap a photo of it to keep in mind while you are doing the washing. If the car you snapped is so bright that it is shining off the screen of your phone, that is even better. Now go and get all of the equipment you need to perform a waterless car wash. Veterans of the waterless car wash will probably think nothing of this step but those that are new to the process will marvel at how quick and easy it is to get all the equipment required for the waterless car wash together. All you need is the bottle of waterless car wash solution and two micro fiber towels.
Once you have all of your equipment together pull out that picture of your motivational car one more time just to give yourself a refresher of how shiny it was. Take note of all the different spots where the car is shining brighter than usual and try to focus on those areas a bit more. Before you know it, the wash will be all done and you can stand back and admire it. Most people only need about 20 minutes to perform a waterless car wash.
The last step is review time. Compare your car that you just washed to the motivational car in the picture. If your car is looking better and shinier as it should then pat yourself on the back – you really have a knack for the waterless car wash. If it doesn’t look as good, no problem. Simply keep practicing until you have gotten your car to a level of shininess that impresses people.
